The Friends of Music holds its concerts in the Dr. Frank W. Cyr Center, indoors and outdoors, depending on the type of concert and the weather.  This year, 2006, is the 20th consecutive season we have brought outstanding musical performances by celebrated artists to the Stamford community.

We hope, through this expansion of musical culture in the village to attract visitors and businesses.

We endeavor to promote interest in music to the youth of our community and to foster this end, Friends of Music has established a scholarship to graduating students who prepare for a career in music.

Our efforts are partially supported financially by the generosity of the Robinson-Broadhurst Foundation.  However, we are greatly dependent on private donations to meet our financial obligations.
